In retrospect, the less you know the better. The original series crafts so much mystery with so few answers, it really puts you in the shoes of the characters - at the mercy of unseen powers toying with the levers of life and existence blindly, and the harm that arrogance causes.

Evangelion: Death was the first anime film I watched and went in with zero context. I assumed it wouldn't matter where I started. I was both hilariously wrong and utterly transfixed, I was desperate to understand what I just witnessed because it made no sense at all, but it was beautiful and tragic.

I appreciate the clarification haha, I wanted to check out bbno too - I heard 1-800 recently with mouse, that was a fun vibe. Is that much of their music or just a one-off?

This is kinda tough because so much of my taste is in singles, there's not a lot of artists I listen to and enjoy their entire discography, do you find that too?
