I have realized that recently I have started to feel kind of desensitized to current events in the world. Which is something I’m deeply ashamed of, because I know that’s how the people in power want us to feel.

I have so little respect for “AI artists” because if you wanna learn how to draw something, just look for a tutorial and LEARN. I recently did this one print for a class, and I wanted to draw an elephant. Something I have NEVER drawn in my life before, so I just googled “How to draw an elephant”

I’m so glad I learned how to sew buttons in 8th grade home-ec class. It’s honestly such a good skill to have, plus it’s therapeutic!

It’s crazy to think about how much someone can change. Because I used to be a completely different person, and I’m so glad I’m not that kind of guy anymore. If anything, I’m the kind of man I wanted to be back then, but genuinely didn’t think it was possible to do so.

A problem with the 'if you're a good artist, AI won't replace you' is that you aren't born a good artist. You learn. If entry level art jobs are taken over, then the only way to practice, learn and improve and still pay your bills is outside of a proffessional environment. Which means either... 1/2

Does it trip anyone out when people say 2020 like as a past tense? Like oh yeah that was 5 years ago.I feel so weirded out, idk how to explain to people that after losing years to covid like it didnt end i keep feeling im losing my years but also stuck in like a cryogenic chamber impervious to time
