The second goal is that once I finish my education we will be creating an academic pagan seminary for those who wish to craft their own spiritual path within a nature-oriented and ecospiritual framework.

Your support will help get us started. We are a 501c3.

You got it. *offers a virtual cookie* I keep looking around going why is no one studying autistic spirituality? why is no one studying disabled pagans? Where are our voices?

This is lovely.

Thanks. I am super salty b/c there are no profs at my religious studies college with more than "I heard of it" experience with paganism and no disability studies knowledge in the dept, and my chronic illness/disability is causing my thesis to be delayed because my lived experience = not good enough.

Given my personal experience in a psych program it's hard to justify anything other than you only want cis white xtians in the classroom and teaching. Grading is inherently subjective. If we are truly preparing students for the future, it will never be only cis white and xtian.

How about when you put in 0:90 seconds and the microwave switches to 1:30 to count down, are you upset?

Like yeah, they're the same, but I said 90 seconds, not one minute, 30 seconds. (And yes I know this is small and trivial, but it still bugs me.)

I've really been enjoying the 10% happier podcast and Dice in Mind.

That those who seem to be able to lob the most pointed criticisms are often those who are seen as outside the party mainstream establishment, and why the party writ large, seeks to keep doing what it has always done when that is clearly not what is called for here.

Food for thought. //

The truth is as a pagan scholar who would like to explore contemporary pagan theology, I'm pissed. There's no reason why there shouldn't be room for me in the halls of academia. I should have profs on my thesis committee who are familiar with paganism and disability. That I don't is a travesty.//
