To give you an idea of why WA and OR residents are currently swearing like nobody's business, check out this awesome radar image of the storm system.

That is ONE storm. ONE. stretching across the entirety of the Northern Pacific!

As the graphic says, 4/7 WAY too much water.

All that tropical moisture is an Atmospheric River or, as locals call it, the "Pineapple Express" and tends to bring flooding/high yields of rain wherever it goes.

Rivers, Streams, Creeks draining from:

Forecast rain amounts reach 6 to 12 inches in the Cascades, Cascade foothills, Coast Range and the coast.

Swift Reservoir + Cascade Locks areas, I am looking at you specifically w/ rain totals forecast to be in the double digits (10+)

Update for OR and WA:

Monday is slated to bring the winds we'd hoped were not going to be a thing during the atmospheric river. We're looking at gusts anywhere between 30 to over 50mph.

This is going to mean power outages and downed trees in addition to hazards mentioned already re: flooding.

The man is capital D DOOMED where she's concerned even as an archlich. He is no match for that silver dragon or her enthusiasm to the degree even the god of knowledge pities him. 😭

I do hope you’re fairing well in my absence. I know how you fret while I’m away on one of my little shopping trips…

Shopping trips. Meaning wherever she’s managed to land herself, he’ll be receiving a merchant’s bill for items not paid for and likely a random number of carts, crates, and more.

As you may recall, my decision to return to Baldur’s Gate, where I whittled away many a decade and consider a third home, has resulted in some unexpected developments.

I do love it when you fret so, it’s such a charming trait in a man and why I fell for you in the very beginning! I am as well as well can be, all matters considered. Fret not about those little merchant bills, I will ensure our coffers are plentiful enough to settle any debts we may incur.

I did find a particularly fetching robe that would be positively magnificent on you– bones and all. Be it sunlight, arcane fire, moonlight, or otherwise, you will cut an imposing figure the Harpers will simply have to compose a little ditty or three about!

Why does he even bother worrying about his wife when all she does is give him the echoes of mortal headaches?

I booked a terrarium building class with my mother as a surprise and this is what she and I came home with!

First two photos are hers, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do so she just had fun.

I had more of an idea and wound up with something different than my initial vision- but I love it!!

I love MAD ears but also her "spotted someone she loves very much/is very fond of" ears will one shot me faster than a misdirect and/or movement based mechanic.

Also featuring the ever-popular "bastard stance" ear position I've written about bc it pleases me + when Vala spots an opening...

Yes good.

(I love airplane ears/mad ears on Viera, it takes me out EVERY SINGLE TIME especially on Vala due to the size of those ears. Her power and personality is stored in them and in her heart.)

A VERY displeased looking female Viera with brown skin, red hair with white highlights, and brass rimmed glasses glowering at the camera.
