An eloquent image:

Setting aside the content under the tarp for a moment, teens were asked to make art expressing what it is like to be a teen, and the end result was a mural wrapped in a tarp by adults.

I bet a lot of teens would find this expressive of their experience.

"Don’t put this on God. You had plenty of warnings this might happen, and you chose to ignore them. You chose to leave the people you’re sworn to serve in the most vulnerable circumstances. You chose to risk danger befalling them."

Younger teen is mocking my Spanish skills. I studied German, and I’ve done 32 days of Duolingo Spanish. He’s been learning it since PRESCHOOL. Not a fair comparison. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Dude, it is 6:35 am.
“Yes, you said you’d show me how in the morning.”

Happy Easter to those who choose to celebrate. One is risen, the other is still in bed. Easter baskets assembled (same ones for the last 16/13 years), bunny & chick are 16 as well. Teenage boys love bubbles & chocolate bunnies are a must.

I commend @wired.com for making this decision, and hope other publications follow suit. I have a theory that more people might just subscribe as a result.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

A professor of environmental sciences gives a quick punchy take on the "eye-popping" numbers re. how clean air promotes economic growth.

An EPA analysis of 20 years of the Clean Air Act (1970-90) found the economic benefits of the regulations were about 42X greater than the costs.

No pay wall.
America’s clean air rules boost health and the economy − here’s what EPA’s new deregulation plans ignore
Clean air has become one of America’s best investments, returning $10 for every $1 spent on regulations, by one estimate.
