Same here. My family in Tulsa keeps up with news, but things for them are pretty much normal. It’s really strange. Same with friends elsewhere. It’s like we’re in a totally different world.

Lol no I hear you and agree. I’ve been thinking the same thing and wondering what can be done to get more people prepare. In other cities but especially here.

The people who attended the party I helped organize were so excited though, and asking when the next one would be. So if various neighborhoods could have these events, it would help keep the momentum going. At least that's what I think might help.

I do want to try and find contacts in the greater downtown area who might be interested in helping to organize a weekly whistle party. It's not as warm and cozy here as in other neighborhoods though. lol

So I've found that because groups like Indivisible have so many events going on, it will probably be difficult to have whistle parties with them more than monthly. I think that the less formal get-togethers like Emily has been doing will probably work better, or just shipping out like you suggested
