I’m Kieran. I edit. And other stuff. I’m one third of Nuffink And Like It, for example.
It’s horrifying that I immediately knew the answer.

Why is he alone with his little telly? Did nobody else buy one of those seats?

Yeah, it is. I just got confused. I’m going to blame a combination of jet lag and old age. 😄

That’s all great info. Thanks! I always thought the Russ Abbott was something else.

I’d lean towards the latter. 😄

It’s the Welsh equivalent of luchador names that sound so cool when you say them in Spanish, but telling people you’ve just seen The Son of The Saint vs 1000 Masks in English doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.

A semi-educated, semi-conspiratorial guess is YT is downplaying you because they can’t/you won’t put ads around your content. At the heart of it, they’re not in business to showcase actually good video content, they sell ad space.

It feels like a third person game I’m being forced to play in first person. The GTAs are the gold standard of open world city games and, in the short time I’ve played CP, it whiffs on so many things that feel effortless in GTA.

Funnily enough, I hated E33 even more. 😂 I quit after about 10 mins. I pressed forward on the stick to move for the first time and my guy did two full Unreal spins and I was immediately like “I’m out”.

Yeah, she’s pretty rad. She was on the Korakuen show I went to recently, wrestling Senka Akatsuki, whose gimmick seems to be she’s a 1970s/80s AJW wrestler. They even did a spot based on the bodyslam-and-shoot-pin thing they would do back then. 😄

I do wish they’d brand themselves more as SENDAI GIRLS: pro-wrestling rather than SENDAI: girls’ pro-wrestling though. 😬

My friend got us “Monday Night Raw hard cam” position seats (2nd row balcony, level with the ring) for £40 each and the experiment, atmosphere and main event were worth that.

I will say, the bar queue was back to Ye Olde York Hall levels of mayhem. 😅

There were two tags that both ranged from “come on lads, get it together” to fantastic spots. Then the main event was an easy live five. A red-hot, building-circling, proper lucha rules experience, and one of the BEST matches I’ve seen live this year.

As an experience, it was great (apart from Lynskey as ref an Jorge Castaneda as ring announcer 😄). As a wrestling show, your mileage may vary. The opener was fake European luchadors having one of the worst matches I’ve seen live all year.

The thing to understand going in is that it’s not really for our type of wrestling fans. It’s more of a cultural experience (mostly for hipsters) and a bit of home for the Mexican diaspora. The place was single digits shy of selling out around 970 tickets and I’d say it was 90% “casuals”.
