I reckon the builder didn’t expect to see the neighbour peeking at him.👀

Yep.

TMS (via BBC Sounds app) is about 10s ahead of TV coverage for me.
Not ideal, but at least the commentary is better.

Mute TNT and put in TMS for the commentary.

I wfh and my office is a log cabin in the garden; I must remember to set the timer on my office heater so that it isn’t still freezing when I get to my desk.
Currently 5C, heater now on full!

Thinking about Shameless, did you watch the US version or the original UK version?
I’ve only seen the UK version and yes, chaotic is a good description; cringe, uncomfortable might be good adjectives too.
There is something of cult status for the show and definitely a love it or hate it response.

Earlier today, on same topic, I saw someone linked to the UK Gov’s list of vexatious litigants that are banned from bringing court cases. This seems like an excellent time to add him to the list.

I have an Internet connected washing machine; but that’s one function that is not enabled!
Getting a reminder on your phone when the washing is done sounds ok, but the fact that companies probably log how many times per week that you do laundry to sell to other companies - no way.

Some things just don’t need to be connected to the Internet.

First thing that popped into my head when I saw this was Zelda from Terrahawks.

A bit of string/thread between the eye holes to pull them closer perhaps.

No formal schooling here in the UK anymore.
Luckily every family has a bigoted and racist aunt/uncle whose job it is to teach their nieces/nephews how the world works, what places are called, and if the food that comes from those places is nice to eat or just ‘foreign muck’.

It isn’t just some of the stupid English people that confuse Europe with the EU; there are plenty stupid Welsh, Scottish, and N.Irish that get confused too.

Sounds like the poor chap is caught in an infinite loop going back and forth across The Channel / La Manche.
