Raiden and Liu Kang's roles being flipped sounds interesting on paper but they haven't really DONE anything super interesting with it yet. Just kind of feels like they looked through an old draft and replaced every instance of "raiden" with "liu kang" and vice versa.

Pretty solid first chapter all things considered, I'm decently invested in the rebooted world. Kuai Luang being Scorpion is interesting, so I can't wait to see what they do with Bi-Han in this timeline.
