I need a pinned post, and also it occurred to me maybe not everyone who follows me over here knows who I am, so here's a bunch of games I've made and helped make.
For all the stuff Sakurai puts into his games, it's weird how conservative he is when it comes to character customization.
Smash characters only have 8 colors, and only for a select few are some of those alternate costumes.
Now Air Riders only has only two colors per character.

So it's cool that they're going even further in that direction.

Okay I couldn't stop thinking about it so I came back and got the loop detection almost working.
Essentially the goal is to create a continuous loop of black or white blocks. This destroys those blocks, plus all blocks contained within the loop.

The loop detection isn't working correctly yet, but not bad progress for a couple hours yesterday and a couple hours today.

Had an idea for a puzzle game, started making a prototype. Thought it would be neat if the board had two halves and flipped randomly so you have to manage both sides.
The goal will be to make loops, so I thought it'd be cool to be able to make loops that span both halves of the board.

Kirby Star Allies wasn't great but I can forgive all its faults just because it finally gave an option to fix the incorrect button layout that ruined all the Kirby games on the DS and 3DS.

I got the true ending in Air Riders, and after playing through it twice I've decided Road Trip kinda sucks. Very repetitive and most of the challenges are either completely trivial or basically just a stat check.
Ending was cool though.

It's funny how just a few months ago we thought 24 player Mario Kart was the most chaotic a kart racer could be, and then Sakurai and Kirby showed up and made that game seem comparably kinda chill

Cut the stream short because of technical issues, but I found the button today! I didn't expect to find it this soon.
I clicked 21,406 buttons total, and the correct button was the 20,384th button I pressed.
Will look into the tech issues and resume testing another day.

I'll stream again tonight at 6pm Eastern
Stream done! I pressed 14,489 buttons out of the roughly 200,000 buttons in this build, and didn't find the button. Maybe next time! Looks like I'm gonna be doing at least 10 of these streams.
