I need to get back to doing that too. Keep meaning to get started with ESP32 projects - including making a time-to-flight sensor for using with #HomeAssistant.

Cordova is a good solution for this, plenty of plugins available for bridging to ios and Android for most non-built-in functionality.
You may also want to look into Kotlin MultiPlatform and Flutter though, depending on what you're comfortable with.
