Hegseth needs to be held accountable for these extrajudicial killings and issuing illegal orders. Give Dems back control of Congress and they will do so.

Trump’s ramblings are never about what might be possible or the truth. It is all about the initial headline “Trump wants to eliminate taxes.” His 37% thinks he wants to help them and it is up to others to say NO making him out to be the denied hero. What a constant scam.

It’s the guns. More guns won’t fix things. More troops with guns won’t fix things. That’s been tried so many times and failed. Get rid of the ready access to guns and just maybe things will get better.

So you demand that Ukraine agree to a “concept” that has them surrendering territory that Russia doesn’t even control or else. Trump has a concept of a golf game where he writes his score down first and then it doesn’t matter what he actually shoots. But details matter and how you play matters.

Don’t let folks off the hook for having elected Trump twice. American voters did this. Focus on why the overseas effort to influence those people is now getting the attention by media it deserves. Accept that we have a gullible population. Our schools need to do better. The media must do better.

Why is it that we have a Secretary of Defense (not of War) that plays middle school games when addressing a US Senator. So sad and disrespectful of both of their positions in government.

So you must assume an order to blow up people who have not been officially accused of a crime, are not threatening you and there are alternative means readily available to halt and detain those people short of blowing them up is in fact a legal order and must not be questioned? Seriously?

Since this notice comes from “the Department of War” which officially does not exist unless Congress changes the name of the Department of Defense it would be appropriate to ask under what authority are they engaging in this effort. We don’t have a Department of War.

No member of the US military take an oath to follow the president as commander in chief no matter what. They take an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution especially if the president is not doing so.

But the main point is that this data is collected and it’s meaningful and the media now knows this so when the media judges the “mood” about things by looking at social media they really have no idea who is being responsive and from where unless they get access to this data and study it.

Hate to be cynical about this but the biggest attraction for most Members of Congress to join a tech committee would be the knowledge that tech companies and their executives with lots of money to contribute would seek them out because they are on that committee.

Trump confirmed that a candidate is free to say whatever they want while campaigning without care for the truth or what harm it might bring to someone else. It’s just campaigning.
