Retired software thingy. An explorer without an obsession, so I’m an inch deep, but a mile wide. And a voice to match.

No Republican is fit to hold public office.
Yeah, I’ve been baking for the holidays too.
I made 22 fruitcakes for the holidays back at the beginning of October.
They’re ‘aging’ now, wine-soaked wraps doing their work, and I’ll be sending them out in a couple weeks.

Original, NOT Director’s Cut. Original barely showed the final form of the monster until the final set piece.
Director’s cut shows waaay more, way too soon.
(PS: Still got my buddy from when the movie opened.)

THIS!
This Is why #Drumpf has climbed in bed with the
“crimino-currency” industry.
Makes it SO much harder to follow the payments of his bribes-for-pardons operation.

Was looking at prices for a couple of your books elsewhere, and found…?!

@nytimes.com article on the fires in the towers in Hong Kong.
Here’s a sentence you’ve never read about a construction tragedy in the US.
I wonder why.

What? Do they want to be a target of the #Drumpf Admin?
The whole point of this admin, and now the #Republican Party, is “Never work with Democrats or Liberals. That is Treason.”

So this is asking Liberal students to tolerate Nazis, but not that Nazis need to wake the fck up.

@colbylsmith.bsky.social Frightening changes were reported in the excellent piece you and Stacy Crowley did, of Bowman pulling back on many banking regulations.
One complaint (of course there’s one): ‘onerous’, an opinion, wasn’t quoted, which makes it yours. Onerous for banks or citizens or..who?

The Confederate Flag, the Nazi Swastika, and the #MAGA red hat, all symbols of traitors to America and its Constitution.

“No, I prefer boys, but thanks you.
Would you like me to kill that piggy?”
“No, I have ICE guys I can use. But thanks."

First, a horrifying article, presaging banking failures.

Plus, a complete #Google #AI FAIL, conflating her husband’s military service and Catholic conversion with her bio.

Back to reading “Trail Sinister,” Sefton Delmer’s autobio as a journalist in Germany in the 1930’s for English newspapers.
Substitute “Noem” and “Bovino,” and this story sounds eerily familiar.

Fee slip for last semester at Cal State Northridge, Fall 1983.
TOTAL! $353.50

Just a reality check from when states, AND the country, supported education.
