Writer of true crime, fiction, pop culture. My 1984-set YA crime novel THAT OCTOBER is out now! My crime novel "Seven Angels" won 2021 Hugh Holton Award for Best Unpublished Novel from MWA-Midwest. Member MWA, SinC. Website: keithroysdon dot com
This one from @heatherlevy.bsky.social seems especially opportune with Stranger Things back in the national consciousness. No monsters in THAT OCTOBER - well, only the human ones.

Like a lot of you, hopefully, I'll be spending a lot less with huge corporations during the economic blackout that's covering Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

So here's a couple of good ways to buy my 1984-set high school crime novel THAT OCTOBER from other than the usual suspects. (more)

Throwback to 2014 and the first time my words appeared in a book. Not one of mine, but a nostalgic look back at toys of the 50s, 60s and 70s. I’d written about the Thingmaker on my site in 2011 and the book’s authors asked if they could print it.

When I wrote SEVEN ANGELS in 2019, I set scenes in Knoxville. But I had no idea I'd be living in the city three years later.

In 1984, six high school friends try to solve the mystery of who killed one friend and took another. THAT OCTOBER is a story of coming of age, betrayal and the power of friendship.

Get it from Ink Drinkers Anonymous, the Black-owned, woman-owned bookstore in my hometown of Muncie, Indiana.

With the debut of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” on TCM, a reminder that actor William Hootkins was in “Raiders.” “Star Wars” and “Batman.” Same actor, three iconic roles. @tcmtv.bsky.social @tcmparty.bsky.social
