Update on my Pancake Theory app. Started it the evening of Oct 23, and submitted just after midnight on Oct 26th. After a few rounds back and forth with Apple, it was stuck in "In Review" for 2 days. I pulled it, put a new version. Now it's been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 5 days and counting

I would love to know what Apple has been looking at for the last 6 hours in my three-screen pancake recipe app

Pancake Theory is looking pretty well-rounded 24 hours later! I might ship it tomorrow. The only issue perhaps is that I haven't vetted the AI-generated recipes, let alone added the ones I actually use :-D

Vibe-ish coding my Pancake Theory app with Claude Code and the new @expo.dev MCP Server. Tell it stuff like "learn expo-router/unstable-native-tabs" and you get native tabs, lickity-split!

"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults-Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe - living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.

Yes, it's me, buying games for the PlayStation Vita, a totally normal thing to do in 2025.

After much deliberation, I've determined that this is (sadly, or awesomely, depending on your outlook) the best way to play this particular game.

I'm keeping a spreadsheet of all the stupid little things that have happened in American politics since January of this year for future use in an interactive "This Was the Dumbest Time" app.

I'm so baseball-pilled that I scrolled quickly by this ad, didn't even notice Dwyane Wade, and first thought, "Former Cubs star Aramis Ramirez has his own fragrance? I am so here for it!"

I usually just zoom by this sign, but now that I'm at the Old Brooklyn Street Fair, kinda intimidated by this giraffe.

I don't see any reading of Ohio's age verification law that suggests it applies to Bluesky. The law is clearly targeted at sites that make money off of pornography. Yet, here we are.

It's updated now, but only still to the point where the score was 3-1 😮

Must be the video itself, I guess... happens when I upload the same video from web, as well. But this time I got a job ID (d2q4jlibh3us72orve2g)

@support.bsky.team any idea what this video compression error is about? I was trying to post a screen recording from a Pixel 9a, haven't had an issue like this previously on Android phones.

Cracker Barrel's new logo violated the first rule of modern brand design: it doesn't look like a butthole

Up too late reviving work on my silly "% of run complete" Garmin data field, will be too tired to run in the morning. 🤦‍♂️

Field is easy, but wanted to make the distance configurable in settings. Confused for an hour because you can't edit app settings without first deploying to the ConnectIQ store. 🤦‍♂️

The "slots" are basically a list of indices in a route group. Use the slot in the href to make each tab trigger have a unique route. "More" also needs a route group so it doesn't match on "[feed]".
