Could always dual/live boot it if you have the storage space to run it. Then, you'd have the ability to tinker or test stuff when spare time appears or even use linux in situations where you just don't want to even look at Windows.

It's to the point that I can't remember the last time a major game sold on consoles caught my interest in the least. Meanwhile, indie games are so good and plentiful that I still have plenty of games to play. They are cheaper, and they don't feel like they are attempting to rob me.

I've been curious for years if it was really worth all the extra effort to make everything next day shipping. All the extra warehouses. The multiple drivers in a small area. All the high-speed shipping burning extra fuel. I don't have to wait a forever for delivery, but is it truly better?

Honestly, I enjoy a lot of jank of some of the old dubs. Yeah, the tone can shift wildly between dub and original flavor, which can cause a lot of comedy when something that is supposed to be delivered seriously comes off as basically a joke. That's why I like them, sooo, yeah.

For me, the fall off was just how many side ops and online interactions one had to do to get the good nonlethal equipment. It makes it kind of a "yes! I've finally achieved this thing. Now what" moment

Ever just stand out in a field/forest with nothing to distract the mind and just try to feel the movements of nature? It's a neat feeling. It's definitely closer to a Star Wars force kind of vibe.
