That wasn't my experience at the time, but social media has blown up in the meantime and people probably dug in since then.

His experiences are so important to share, especially now when the whole world is veering toward antisemitism. There are so few left who were there. I hope the outcry is so vast the school realizes how wrong they are.

A lot of them realized they screwed up. Many were horrified at the time. They absolutely believed they wouldn't make a difference. We have no such accountability currently. The spoilers are proud of what they've done.

Well, we aren't getting any improvement while Republicans keep chipping away at what we've got. The regressives don't seem to understand that in demanding everything right now they get nothing.

I agree, but atm they have all the power. And as much as I have hope in the midterms, I have fear, as well.

Until we get serious and have sustained and sustainable action, I don't think we'll be able to get through to the Republicans. They seem to be enjoying our suffering, tbh.

It's so difficult for most people. They can't afford to stop working to protest or risk losing the little Healthcare they have through their employers. Other countries where we see people out protesting daily have much better social safety nets.
