The Decision: Part 2. Lane's taking his talents (and entire team?) to south Louisiana.
In fairness, I watched that entire week 4 game, and at no point did it feel like the Bears would win that game.
It was the last Bear win that felt like that, though, and that they've been better as a team since then, which this bears out.

What do you mean, the Pats, Broncos and Bears are the 3 best teams in football, just like everyone thought coming into the season.

Fun fact, Virginia is ALSO in the championship game because of legal technicalities since their loss to NC State didn't count.

The more hilarious situation is Duke winning the ACC but still finishing behind James Madison and North Texas/Tulane and no ACC team making the CFP at all.

Bears blew an onside kick just 3 weeks ago against the Bengals, where the kick hit the frontline blocker in the heel, even though it only went 8 yards.

My mistake, I conflated 2010 and 2001. 2001 was the year they had like 20 interceptions and won several improbable comebacks to get a high seed and lost big to PHI in playoffs.

Reminds me a lot of the 2010? Bears who went 11-5 and got the 2 seed but everyone knew it was smoke and mirrors and they got walloped in their first playoff game.
