So it will be easier and cheaper to go with a hot pink vinyl. It’s also thinner and easier to sew. Just don’t get any that’s stretchy. I like marine vinyl the best but there’s some lighter weight stuff too. You should be able to sew it by hand or with a regular sewing machine.

For the boots you’d just need something called leather edge paint. It’s a paint that’s flexible and won’t crack when it dries. It’s used on the raw edges of leather and vinyl bags, belts, wallets, etc. Giardini and Angelus make it, but I prefer the paint from Mojo Sews.
