Yeah, I've got lots of plans!

Yeah, a little bit. I'm changing the floors because it has horrible carpets in the bedrooms, and changing the ensuite bathroom. And it has a cute little fireplace that needs some TLC (the pipe for it is falling apart so it's completely unusable). But it's in great condition otherwise!

Thank you! It's 20 min drive away from my parents place - so I won't have the Knysna louries in the back garden any more, but I also won't have to deal with scorpions getting into the house.

Also went to a nursery close to the airport today and it had some of the cheapest plants I've seen in YEARS. It's a huge pity it's such a far drive, otherwise I'd go there at least once a month 😅

But my new house has a really big garden and the neighbour has an avocado tree against my wall so avocados fall into my garden. I've already gotten 2 avos and they taste amazing. I can't wait to move in and start gardening.

And I was gonna go home and buy wall tiles, floor tiles and a basin from Tiles Africa online, and this useless website doesn't have half the things I wanted from the store. Like they have the vanity I wanted but not a basin to fit the top??

(The contractor that I'm still waiting for quotes from can start in December, but EVERYTHING closes like next week, so I need to buy everything ASAP. And it is STRESSING ME OUT. And I am terrified about how expensive the quotes will be, but we'll see)

Dropped aunt off at airport today and spent hours at bathroom and tile stores. Bathroom Bizarre had 15% off everything, so I organised a bathtub, shower door, and taps/shower head/plugs, and was GOING TO buy floor tiles from them but the supplier closes shop tomorrow so I'd only get them mid Jan 🫠

Marking this as graphic for the dead shrew. The puff adder was about the length of a brick, the shrew was almost bigger than it was.

And then as the snake started dragging the shrew into the bushes, the birds started going nuts and all landed in the bush above the snake, screaming at it.

Also this obviously wouldn't apply to everyone, especially in other places in the world that do a lot of trans-investigating, but I don't know. I've always been lucky that people don't really bother me much when I'm out in public.

I need at least 3 weeks worth of facial hair before people start tentatively calling me sir, so like. I definitely never needed to be self-conscious about being feminine back in the day.

I don't feel the need to write a whole review on the movie. My main complaint is why is it so anti-wolf? I haven't read the book yet, but like. Surely the anti-wolf storyline could have been changed for modern times. Wolves are not cold hearted killers that just murder for fun.
