We came home from Skye yesterday. Spectacular island and good quiet roads at this time of year. Of course most tourist attractions are closed but the benefit of the landscape remains and the Coffee Bothy in Broadford has sensational food.

Yesterday I walked 22000 steps on this beautiful island and breathed in tranquility. It was bliss to be here and see the drama of the mountains, the shimmering blue seas and the swans.

On Arran this lovely evening and looking out on the palm trees and view of the Holy Isle. It’s unbelievable and peaceful and right to be here for a few days.

A gorgeous day in the highlands where we took a road trip from Inverness to Achiltibuie and back. The weather helped but the scenery was incredible. We are very lucky.
