Sshhhh... don't tell people that, they'll stop wanting to become PMs. XD

I'm getting better at handling social conflict, but it's still the most exhausting part of being a PM. People Make Games! But dammit, people, just Make the Games!!

But by far the most important lesson for dealing with People I've learned: never, ever, ever assume malice. It's almost always ignorance.

We're all trying to make Project successful. We all want to keep our jobs. Let's figure out what's going on and make it work.

(this is not actually the issue I'm dealing with right now, but an example!)

Another part of project management is finding out a team member did something Really Stupid, and puzzling out a way to tell them about the mistake in a constructive way that won't make them feel Stupid.
