Smoke inhalation is the most common cause of death in fire incidents. Pollution, especially air pollution, has become a significant factor in fatalities, (& chronic diseases ) worldwide. Wildfires are increasing in frequency, scope, intensity, & fatalities.

Worrying to read about this new study into #WoodBurning. #Ecodesign stoves produce high levels of ultrafine particles. Manufactured fuels eg wood briquettes/smokeless coal emit more pollution than seasoned or kiln-dried wood, despite being marketed as cleaner alternatives. #AirPollution

Appalled by The Age editorial #Melbourne saying continued protests for Palestinian safety and justice are “tone-deaf intransigence.” Excellent rebuttal here. Imagine such protests for Jewish safety in 1940’s Germany described in this way 🤯 There is *never* an excuse for apartheid/ethnic cleansing.
