Artist at Large. Poet, visual artist, and everything in between because categories are boring.
While we are waiting for our politicians to cause more chaos and devastation to those of us with ordinary lives who want ordinary things, here's a pretty picture from the nearby woods.

The world has become unfathomable on every level so I invite everyone in the greater Rochester area to come to Tinker Park, Henrietta NY to walk the trails and see some art. This is a collaboration with Jappie King Black who did the grapevine figures. Yesterday we installed the banners.

The opening of Main Street Arts exhibition Geo+Metric featuring over 40 New York State artists was my second day on the job as their new Community and Office Coordinator. Pictured is artist Jean Stephens (right) in front of her piece. Clifton Springs, NY also sports the fantastic bookstore, Sulfur.

We're living in a carnival world so instead of telling you what's on my mind and it not mattering to anyone who can change things, I'm going to advertise this great art gallery and opening of a new exhibit (and yes I have a piece in the show). Main Street Arts, Clifton Springs, NY, Sat Aug 2 3-6pm.

Okay the world sucks right now. We can agree on that. Also a walk and nature is good for the soul so Rochester Friends: A new multi-season installation at Tinker Park in Henrietta is going up created by Jappie King-Black and myself. We will be announcing dates for artist talks and discussions soon.

Really hard to post about one's own stuff with all the craziness out there but Rochester friends, come in out of the cold, indifferent world at The Little Cafe where I have a collaborative show with Stacy Mayou that runs the gamut from pastoral to the political. Up until May 27th.
May 13, 2025 at 11:11 PM
At The Little Cafe today, get out of the rain, have a coffee, glass of wine, a little something to eat perhaps and come see some art. Stacy and I will be there 2-4pm. Rochester NY

Main St. Macedon, NY today before the storms hit. Lights and darks just swirling around, jackets open, unusual spring heat, and then during the drive home while listening to Mountain Stage, tornado warnings interrupted. Just another sign of our irregular chaotic times becoming all too regular.

First Friday Event at The Yards in the Public Market, Rochester, NY. And yes, I have a piece in it. "THAWWW is about the isolation of the cold gray months, the things we make when we turn inward and the works that grow from rest."
