Coder, Death Knight, good take-haver. Bolvar got robbed. He/Him.
This is predatory in a way that's new for WoW.
Blizzard presents a nice list of irrelevant bullshit, but if they actually cared about making store housing purchases fair, buying an item would just give you infinite copies, or a trivial way to get more with gold, and there'd be no need for all this.

Very thoughtful of Blizzard to add a new currency so I don't have to verify a purchase with my bank every time I want a new window in my pink bonsai house.
But... why am I purchasing in-game store housing items individually in the first place?

I nearly posted suggesting this but felt like it was such a random thing that no one would care.
Really glad this is changing though, getting the fog of war every time I moved 3 steps to check something out kinda sucked lol.

I have a slightly unfair example but I do think the argument holds for the other variations of the model too.
The appeal of the bandages is that they're loose and flowy. It's part of the theming of them being ethereal. Feels like something has been lost there.

One thing the devs drew attention to in the 11.2 reveal was that the ethereals look a lot more put together with their bandages now.
I'm a bit surprised they drew attention to it because I actually think it's a massive shame and waters down their visual identity a lot.
