Building The Bloc. We helped elect Summer Lee, Rashida Tlaib, AOC, and more because we need a Democratic Party that fights for voters, not corporate donors.
We're proud to endorse Darializa Avila Chevalier for Congress in #NY13!

If we want to defeat the NY political machine's stranglehold on NYC & DC, we need a working-class champion who can’t be bought by billionaire donors or corporate PACs, and that's @darializaforny.bsky.social

Let's win.

Zohran proved New Yorkers are ready to turn the page on machine politics.

#NY13 voters made that clear & it's why we're proud to endorse @DarializaforNY for Congress.

The Congress we deserve invests in babies not bombs, immigrants over ICE & renters not real estate developers.

The #MI13 primary is a fight between a working class champion & a literal multimillionaire.

While Shri spends taxpayer $ on self-promoting ads, @DonavanMI13 is taking on utility monopolies raising our prices & corporate polluters poisoning our air & water.

The choice is easy.

In one of CA’s poorest districts, Jimmy Gomez got to DC & closed the door behind him.

@Angela4CA is running to bring leadership unbought by AIPAC & Crypto to #CA34.

As the daughter of a deportee, she'll fight back against Trump's fascism with the urgency her community deserves.
November 5, 2025 at 3:16 AM
After decades of the same leadership, #TN09 can't just keep going with a status quo that's failing them.

@justinjpearson.bsky.social is running to bring people-first leadership to TN's only blue district.

From Elon Musk to the NRA, he has the courage to take on the biggest fights & win.
November 5, 2025 at 3:16 AM
In #MO01, we can defeat AIPAC’s handpicked empty suit to elect a true working class champion who embodies what it means to bring urgency & power for the working class in Congress.

@coribush.bsky.social is the fighter St. Louis deserves & the champion our movement needs back in Washington.
November 5, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Zohran's win is what our movement's worked towards for years: electing leaders with the moral courage to unite voters against GOP authoritarianism, Dem corporatism & billionaire greed all at once

His win proves our work: primaries are a battleground to control this Party's direction.
November 5, 2025 at 3:16 AM
@coribush.bsky.social was our first-ever Justice Democrat & we're proud to endorse her again because #MO01 & the nation need a fighter with a proven record to bring urgency & power for the working class in Congress.

Cori is the proof we can & should expect more from members of our Congress.

We're so proud to announce our latest candidate this cycle: @justinjpearson.bsky.social in #TN09!

As Memphis is terrorized by Trump's masked agents & poisoned by Elon Musk's xAI plant, they need leaders that will actually fight back, protect them & deliver the prosperity they were promised.
October 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Justice Democrats is proud to announce our newest endorsement of the cycle: Angela Gonzales-Torres!

Angela’s the daughter of a deportee who’s lived the crises Angelenos face now taking on AIPAC-backed Jimmy Gomez because #CA34 deserves leadership that will fight for them—not leave them behind.

The future of the Democratic Party does not start at corporate conventions funded by billionaires & hedge fund managers.
June 10, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Big news! Rep. Rashida Tlaib is endorsing @donavanmckinney.bsky.social’s
campaign for Congress—the first Congressional endorsement of this race.

Rashida knows that voters in her neighboring district need a leader who will fight back against billionaire corruption—not a Congressman in name only.
May 12, 2025 at 2:08 PM
We are so proud to announce our first new candidate of the cycle: @donavanmckinney.bsky.social in #MI13!

Donavan represents the future Democrats should be fighting for: working class people taking our power back from multimillionaires to deliver for everyday people.

Always with the people.

DOGE in a nutshell:

Taking the largest federal agency budget—that has never passed an audit—and making it even bigger while still somehow cutting thousands of jobs.

ICYMI: Justice Democrats' spokesperson & communications director Usamah Andrabi spoke with @npr.org about why Democrats can't just keep running on a populist facade while catering to the ultra-wealthy, why they need to reject corporate money and embrace working-class voices to win, and more.

Now is the moment to tirelessly center working people & expose the big money corruption that Citizens United has brought onto both parties.

Only then, working class people may finally have the promise of a party that actually serves them. jdems.us/nominate

In total, $15.9 billion was spent in the 2024 election cycle.

Imagine if instead of getting to buy our elections, billionaires and corporations had to pay their fair share of taxes and that money could fund the American people's actual needs—housing, healthcare, jobs, & energy.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Marcy Kaptur, the longest-serving woman in Congress, was first elected in 1983.

20 years into her career, and still before Citizens United, it cost just over $1M to run for re-election.

Last year, it cost her $6.6M.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
This past cycle, billionaires spent more money than has ever been spent in House primary elections, targeting two of the most working class members of Congress.

In total, AIPAC led a $30 billion Super PAC coalition to take out a former principal & nurse.

They're scared of us.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
What that means is one billionaire family has 90,000x more political power than an ordinary American family.

150 billionaire families has the same political influence as over 13.5 million everyday people — or more than the entire of populations of NYC, LA, and Dallas combined.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
This past cycle had more billionaire money than ever before.

150 billionaire families spent $1.9 billion.

Wall Street spent over $1.7 billion, the real estate industry spent over $377 million, and the fossil fuel industry spent over $239 million.

Yesterday, as Trump was getting inaugurated, four men with the combined wealth of almost $1 trillion sat behind him.

Oligarchy is the defining issue of our time, taking control of our government & economy, and this decision was pivotal in destroying our democracy.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Since the 2010 decision, the cost of Congressional elections in a single cycle has doubled with $10.3 billion spent this past cycle.

Working class people cannot afford to run for office and everyday voters’ voices are drowned out by billionaire-funded Super PACs.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
15 years ago today, Citizens United legalized economic inequality as a political tool for the wealthy to exploit.

$58+ billion has been spent on Congressional elections since.

Now is the moment for Democrats to fight back against the corporate takeover of our democracy.
January 22, 2025 at 2:05 AM
The 119th Congress is one of the richest & oldest ever.

Today, we officially launch our 2026 candidate recruitment–working class communities deserve working class leaders in Congress.
