In Tokyo for the marathon and love this LGBTQ inclusive sign I saw in the very large cosmetics section of a convenience/ drug store. Considering how East Asian is often portrayed as being more homophobic, this was nice to see.

Refreshing my IRB certification and came across this in one of the modules…I don’t even know what to think about this. Trump has even impacted how ethical research is being framed/discusses 🤦🏻♀️

Alright #AsianAmAF folks I need someone who knows enough coding to create a custom feed for this platform. Cuz when I search Asian for feeds this is what I get and the second set of feeds is problematic AF. Flashbacks to the early days of the internet searching “asian women” for a research paper 🤢🤢

I think one of my favorite moments of #ALAN24 is meeting and chatting with @yesimhotinthis.bsky.social She came to the AsianAm gathering at #NCTE24 and I discovered that she’s funny and lovely. Love when authors are as amazing as their books.
