Got feedback the bombs were hard to see, so made them pop a bit more - testing it out by building a blue ring and chain combo. If anyone else have tweaks they want to see, let me know :)

Added visuals for attacks being sent across - a nice boost to the competitive feel! Unlike Super Puzzle Fighter II & #puyopuyo that have character animations, in my game, the board *is* the character :)

How do you convey high speeds in games? I added a trail to fast-drop, boosting the sense of speed. My upcoming game is inspired by Super Puzzle Fighter II, #puyopuyo, and #tetris. Excited to share it with players soon!

I redesigned the breaker block for my puzzle fighting game. I think it stands out much better than before, although might need to tweak the red one a bit. Also experimented with refraction, which looked interesting but did not serve the purpose.

I've been working on "upgrading" the style of the blocks. Aiming for both appeal *and* easy to read the board. Now I need to change the background to fit instead (and make the breaker block standout). @woum.bsky.social and @amberosesia.bsky.social - here you see the versus puzzle fighter mode :)
