Once you have an eviction on your record (even a filing that doesn’t get completed) it is harder to find a place to live and can limit options for jobs.

As this idea comes back, reminder that 3rd grade retention without caution is problematic. We shouldn’t overly rely on standardized tests & don't want students to turn around & get sent back to 30-kid classrooms with emergency certified teachers.
The emphasis has to be on reducing class sizes!
