I was really excited to add a David Hemmings movie to my "60s mad englishmen" category but he really was just a con-man in it and not very mad at all. Samantha as always was unearthly beautiful. And why was he so obsessed with her ditching her cane?? at least she didn't die in this one.

Watching Foul Play for the first time in many many years and finding myself sympathizing with the bad guys because they see what a sham organized religion is and want billionaires to be taxed...

I mix up The Loved One with You're a Big Boy now. I already have one and it looks like TCM is running the other soon.
I don't think they're that similar except they're from the same time and I saw them both on late night tv as a kid. I forget which one Elizabeth Hartman was in. 😍 double feature!

Do you mean Brando? Maybe I'm just used to the older him, he's not quite as unrecognizable to me.
Hywel Bennett changed quite a bit too.
I always think of him as Shelley but it's fun seeing the creeps he played earlier in his career. He seems to have always kept working though.
