Did you look into cases before 2018? The first 'cancellation" I remember was about 2014, with one of the creators involved being Alex Day. I don't think he managed to make a succeful come back. Would be interesting to know if its just how creators responded, or their fans or time frame?

Honestly, most of the tunes on her album are catchy. And not every pop song needs to be deep. A couple of songs are a bit of a mess lyrically though.
