Did you get this figured out? You can maybe use AGEP & WAGP from PUMs microdata. See data dictionary here. Can use tidycensus to pull it down, but I forget their most recent year www2.census.gov/programs-sur...

As far as I can tell, it's all based off of a handful of posts here and those articles yesterday (?) about the healthy agency pause in comms. Pretty unclear what's going on imo
