A subdued sunrise this morning but at least it was visible. Managed to get some photos while doing my daily Duolingo.

Morning ORCs, woke later this morning but just in time to capture a beautiful sky. It's been weeks since I've seen a sunrise as lovely. Photos don't do justice, camera not good enough, can't get the exposure right on it.

My alternative to having a morning cig with coffee...
A small bit of choc each morning is definitely better than a stinky expensive finger-staining lung-destroying cig.
Will need to stock up on advent calendars to last me a few months.

Looks like being another very unseasonably mild Nov day, 21C in flat at 9pm last night without any heating, had to open bedroom window overnight. Am not complaining, mind!

ECG today & then Smoking nurse again. Day 7 of no cigs but this morning was a struggle. Might have given in if not for today's appt.

The day is here & looks promising, it's so good to see some sunshine even if sun isn't actually visible, & to have golden light streaming thru balcony patio door windows.

Sun has risen but obscured by a bank of low cloud. At least it's dry today.
Sun now rising in SSE, even just a couple of weeks ago it was rising due East & in the summer it was almost due North.
It's going to be about 3 months before I'll see sunrise from my comfy chair again ☹️

The sun is out with a clear blue sky & I've managed to get some slightly better photos of the small pieces of #seaglass in natural light up against the window. But my cheap phone camera still doesnt capture the full depth & range of colours.
These pieces are very small, each box section is 1cm sq.

Tomorrow I really MUST do today's overdue jobs, & not get distracted sorting the #seaglass currently soaking in Steradent & mustn't sit for hours in my comfy sorting it into colour scales.

More #seaglass pics, not great colour quality due to harsh artificial light. The colours are much more varied but subtle in natural daylight.
The chunk of sandstone crystal is about the size of my fist, so a good size.

Not heard of NoriZite but will investigate. Pharmacist recommended 1st Defence.

Had an hour on the beach & found quite a lot of sea glass including 2 blue pieces but much of what I found was not old & smooth, but fairly recent stuff.

Tides out at the moment but it looks like it's coming in.
A good spot to spend the day, got some good solar on my panel to recharge all gadgets while I do some sea glass hunting.

After a quick walk, now out of Stealth mode & into Road mode for a visit to the truckstop for ablutions & a bacon butty just as the hordes arrive with noisy dogs & kids (is it half term?).
Then heading back towards town via another beach.

Despite the recent crappy upgrade to energy instead of lives, I've done pretty well with my Italian on Duolingo.
I can now buy clothes, order ice cream, compliment the bride's mother, complain about a spooky hotel room & find my way round Rome 😁
