Depending on how it’s drawn, I sense a potential dummymander from a 10-1 map.

8 Dem, 2 GOP, and 1 toss-up would be a safer bet.

(Disclaimer: I hate all of this and wish we had gerrymandering reform nationwide)

Looking at you, Howe Street (from Little Howe Park to 7th Ave. W)

In a better world, Arkansas’s 2nd, Kentucky’s 6th, Missouri’s 2nd, and Oklahoma’s 5th are on the table for Democrats. Republicans gerrymandered them.

Curious to see what a potential pro-Dem shift looks like in *fairly* drawn districts like AR-3 and OK-1, though.

And then there’s Iowa 1, 2, and 3 😬

I think this seems to be reflected on page 12 in the attached document

Also: page 62 outlines parking minimums

Fair enough!

Not an expert here, but quick glance: 35’ height limit in residential zones, .50 FAR, 15’ setbacks

Flagstaff has a strong NIMBY culture w/ recent controversy over a new hospital + off-campus student housing growth over the last decade, so this passing at all is somewhat impressive imo

A long document but I think this’ll answer your questions: www.flagstaff.az.gov/DocumentCent...

Texas will hold their primary elections on March 3 (May 26 runoff, if applicable)

Absurdly early, yes! But you need an earlier filing deadline to accommodate a March 3 election.

Similar situation in Arkansas, where filing ended last month.

Yikes, this road already has speed bumps. That says a lot.

I’m not trying to start an argument and realize this wouldn’t be an ideal scenario.

But if placing a HSR station in Seattle is too big of a financial/political lift, utilizing space near our international airport as a hub wouldn’t be a bad trade off *if* we expand Link + Sounder in an adequate way.

I feel like we don’t really need a station for HSR in Seattle proper?

Let’s build a big station next to IKEA in Renton with frequent Link/Sounder connections to Sea-Tac, Bellevue, Seattle, and Pierce County.
