It might be good for many of us out here in the trenches if you'd comment on which of these come natively in the vanilla distros. E.g. inxi doesn't come packaged in vanilla Fedora Workstation. I'm also thinking that neither does lshw.

Random person from the interwebz here. If I were taking a probabilistic view, I'd ask what are the odds that they were not linked. Given all the evidence, those odds seem so minimal to me that it's difficult to see how they're not "logically linked".
