If you are interested in citizen volunteering in general, I just found the citizen archivist effort at the National Archives. You transcribe pages of historical documents. It’s fascinating!

Thank you! If man/woman power is the biggest obstacle I am sure that many would be willing to lend time and effort for such a project. The citizen archivist project through the Ntl Archives is one such example. Unbreaking.org is another.

The already significant economic and geopolitical consequences will be considerable, even unbearable, for our societies: disruption of value chains, rising energy costs, strain on resources and population movements, loss of competitiveness for the most dependent countries, and increased poverty and vulnerability. While the inertia of the Earth system may render the damage irreparable on a human timescale, there is still time to act to halt global warming and adapt to a degraded climate, provided that every stakeholder assumes their responsibilities without delay.

Would it be possible or is there an effort to create alt gov webpages with archived info and former employee support for people to access while the official websites are no longer trustworthy?
