We've officially begun "soft release," and despite telling her, much like loved ones tell their cherished family members that it's okay to go... I tell her it's okay... that this was our goal... that I'll understand when she no longer comes back at bedtime. Even when it's hard to breathe. 🐿💜

Little Miss has come home with her new pal, Bentley, 3 days in a row!

Bentley noticed her in the window one day and promptly chewed a hole in my screen. Industrious little dude.

I'm happy she's made a friend with one of the backyard crew! Especially since she's been raised sans other squirrels.
