Retronauts Co-Host, NES Works Producer, Limited Run Book Guy, and RGB addict. Did not invent the word "Metroidvania." He/him. Header pic by Sonya Yruel.
It’s been three years since I offhandedly quoted my nephew’s joke while hanging out after a family Thanksgiving dinner, and people are STILL scrounging for clout by reposting screen caps of the tweet as if it were their own fresh content. The internet is inexplicable

Anyway. I had to support the entrepreneurial spirit of the kid who looked at the miserable corpse of her ragged old toy and thought,”This is an incredible business opportunity.” Can’t wait to see where they end up in 20 years.

For Gundautumn ’25, I watched The Witch From Mercury. It's easily the best thing called Gundam since War in the Pocket.

I have also come to a decision about A.I.: the only way I will invite it into my home is in the form of an actual functional Haro. BUT only if it includes GWitch's murder mode

Jeremy, did you buy a record just for a cover version of “Konya Wa Hurricane”?

Haha, no, of course not. There’s also some cool Anamanaguchi jams on here!

(But mostly for the “Konya Wa Hurricane” cover)

It’s been slow going, but we are gradually getting rid of all the wretched builder-style whites and greys this house came drenched in

Finally something good happened in 2025: the two albums I’ve been trying to find on vinyl for a sane price received brand new pressings for the first time decades

Oh my god… I’m gone for the weekend and come home to find the Monstera pregnant. We should have had The Talk sooner. I feel like such an irresponsible parent

I transported a pair of donuts for 15 hours on a cross-country trip to share with @catnguyenphoto.bsky.social and then nearly left them on the parking payment machine once I landed. But they made it home safely, and somehow really are as good as reputation says. And I don’t even normally like donuts

In case you’ve ever wondered what kind of audience the Laserdisc medium was marketed to, consider that Pioneer’s U.S. releases of the Armitage III anime had fully English-language packaging EXCEPT for the spines, which printed the titles in katakana
