accessibility considerations are actually helpful for everyone, not just people with disabilities
It's neat to see them encourage developers to add ARIA tags to pages though, an "agent" can be thought of as effectively another form of assistive technology

after years of selecting captcha images containing bicycles, boats, busses, crosswalks, and motorcycles, I finally get my revenge.

captcha, welcome to the war on cars.

mildly interesting: I've observed for a while that baggy jeans have become more popular but it looks like they were neck and neck with skinny jeans up until mid-2023, and now baggy jeans is the clear winner (for now). what's next?

rediscovering an old album from a Myspace-era band feels like finding a bottle of preserved wine on the ocean floor.

no idea if it's gonna be awful but I sure as shit am gonna crack it open and try it. the payoff outweighs the risk

sorry but 50,000 characters in a custom code embed on Webflow is not enough in 2025

if you're using relative dates in your app, remember to give users the ability to see the actual date. this example from Claude is good, just a simple hover state will suffice.

nope, still dumb

ok. but this is just one part of doing laundry.

now check all pockets for chapstick/airpods, run cycle, take it outside, hang with clothespins, know when it's dry, bring it inside, fold all items, sort by owner, sort by clothing type, then put away in each person's room.
Figure F.02 loading a washing machine in CEO Brett Adcock's home. He says this is using helix, their VLA. Nice example of the robot crouching and reaching into a constrained environment, and its right next to his kids

interesting, you can now add llms.txt to your webflow site.

I love this part: "Avoid abstract descriptions, jargon or buzzwords like 'cutting-edge solutions for everyone.' Instead, say what your product actually does."

Upload an llms.txt file to your site
You can upload an llms.txt file in Webflow to your site’s root domain on your custom domain. This file is designed to help large language models (LLMs) understand and represent your content more ac...

ever since Webflow added the "auto save CMS items" I've had persistent issues with the Designer saving my changes.

The number of times I've updated a CMS item, went back to my site, and published it, only to realize my changes were not saved - is too damn high. very frustrating.

giving Gemini a try at work and I'm not impressed. outputs are varying quality, and occasionally i get random "errors" like this with no context. I expect much better from Google

now playing in the studio:

Mellow My Man - The Roots (1995)

from the golden age of hip hop. somehow, it still feels classic and avant garde at the same time. this whole album absolutely slaps.

'Silent Treatment' always stops me dead in my tracks when I hear that bassline
