We used to joke that 163rd Street Mall to the west -- from which Aventura had pulled many of its stores and most of its business -- was going to be the location of "West Side Mario's." This story I've been writing for a few days is in a completely different location, but that's what inspired this:
That night, we went to dinner at a local pizza joint across the main highway from campus called West Side Mario’s. Apparently, there had once been a location of the East Side Mario’s chain across town, and the owner of *this* place thought he was being clever. But East Side Mario’s pulled out of the U.S. market just as the pandemic was taking shape, so... points to the little guy for winning *that* competition, I guess.

A Bean: I'm firmly aware of the problems of the Catholic Church, thank you very much, but polygamy as practiced by Mormon offshoots is a whole other ballgame Josh Colletta: One: that's really only because Christianity got hijacked by patriarchal factions as time went on. Early Christians were much more egalitarian. Two: nobody is defending abuse and control here, we're talking about loving, committed poly relationshists. Mono relationships face the same problems. And three: poly relationships are not strictly one man and many women -- which seems to be where your confusion comes from. Poly circles can by many men and many women. And even *then* the idea that being a nun is analogous to polyamory is nonsense. My sister's all-white cat Elbereth is loafing -- face-down -- on a torn cardboard box lid sitting on top of a printer (to protect it from cat hair) at our parents' house. She loved laying there because it was warm and right in front of the front door, which also happened to be between the living room and the kitchen, so that when anyone walked in, she would stick her head out at them and demand pets. She was a queen. A drooling, derpy, oh-so-lovable queen. Elly Belly is sadly no longer with us, but we all still hold her in our hearts.

A transit map I once drew up for a hypothetical BRT system in Hillsdale County, Michigan. The lines are as follows: -- A line along M-99 between the neighboring cities of Hillsdale and Jonesville. -- A somewhat bisecting line from Litchfield south on M-99 to Jonesville and Hillsdale, continuing east-southeas along M-99 and M-34 to Osseo, Pittsford, and Hudson. -- A northern west-east line along US 12 from Quincy (Branch Area Rapid Trasit transfer) to Allen, Jonesville, and Somerset Township. -- A western spur along Reading Ave. / Reading Rd., M-49, and a few other county roads from Hillsdale to Bankers, Reading, and Montgomery. -- An eastern spur along State St. / State Rd., Knowles Rd. / Hillsdale St., and Addison Rd.from Hillsdale to North Adams and Addison. -- A southeastern spur along M-99, M-34, and Waldron Rd. from Hillsdale to Osseo, Pittsford, and Waldron. -- A southern west-east line along various county roads from Montgomery to Camden and Waldron. -- A western north-south line along M-49 from Litchfield to Allen, Reading, and Camden. -- An eastern north-south line along US 12, US 127, Prattville Rd., and Waldron Rd. from Somerset Township to Addison, Hudson, Prattville, and Waldron. The population base does not exist to justify or sustain all of this, but the existing Hillsdale (city proper) Dial-a-Ride paratransit service SHOULD be expanded to include Jonesville, as both cities make up the urban core (yes, that IS an official thing) of the Hillsdale County Micropolitan Area (which is also an official thing).

One of those ways in which OCPD is *related to* OCD, but isn't the same thing. I don't typically question my moral positions or my relationship status with people, but boy howdy, do those two things heavily impact my life when they intersect, and I can't be around some people for very long.
From the DSM 5, under the diagnostic criteria for Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (301.4 (F60.5)), point 4 says "Is overconscientious, scrupulous, and inflexible about matters of morality, ethics, or values (not accounted for by cultural or religious identification)."

I remember her on that 2001 tour. I was an Earthsuit fan ("Plastic People," in case your curious). She was... not very well-received. V*Enna was also a short-lived act, but they at least had SOME success on the radio. Katy Hudson did not.
From Wikipedia: 2000–2006: Career beginnings, Katy Hudson, and Fingerprints Perry briefly had vocal lessons with a woman named Agatha Danoff in facilities rented from the Music Academy of the West. Her singing caught the attention of rock artists Steve Thomas and Jennifer Knapp from Nashville, Tennessee, who brought her there to improve her writing skills. In Nashville, she started recording demos and learned how to write songs and play guitar. Perry signed with Red Hill Records and recorded her debut album, a contemporary Christian record titled Katy Hudson, which was released on March 6, 2001. She also joined Earthsuit and V*Enna that year to perform as part of Phil Joel's Strangely Normal Tour and embarked on other performances of her own in the United States. [highlighted] Katy Hudson received mixed reviews from critics and was commercially unsuccessful, selling an estimated 200 copies before the label ceased operations in December.
