I’m surprised at how little equity winning a league title has bought Slot. It’s not like with Brendan Rodgers, where the 2013/14 season was a clear outlier and a bit fluky

It wasn’t fun watching core players from the Klopp era leave. But adopting a cold, rational approach with Wijnaldum, Milner, Lallana, Firmino, etc. was the right call in pretty much every case.
