That's disappointing about Facebook, but I'm not surprised that they have another screwball rule getting in the way of people communicating. I just reconnected to Threads. I'm not seeing the post that I just made via Fedica there yet, but it may take a few minutes.

OK, this confused me when I tried to set things up. I wanted to connect my Facebook profile, but it appeared that Fedica would only let me connect pages. My profile is where I want to post. Is that possible? And without connecting Facebook pages, am I prevented from connecting Threads and Instagram?

Actually, looking again after a few hours, it showed up on Bluesky with a link as to other websites with the title and image, but that's good enough.

The link showed up like a usual Bandcamp embed link (with the image of the album, play button, etc), everywhere but the Meta sites. A response for Fedica tells me that the Meta sites should have worked, so we're digging into this. Fedica seems to be a good solution for the crossposting, so far.
