Rewrote a sci-fi one-sheet and several anthology pitches today, feeling good about them across the board.

This really is a great jumping on point with the first trade.

That said, we're barely into the series and I did an overprint on the individual issues, so you could probably have your shop get you all four issues! They include backup stories and a letters column that don't appear in the trade.
FOC for the first volume of Bullet Adventures is Dec 1!

If you haven't wanted to keep up with singles or Kickstarters, I get it. Now, you can ask your comic shop for the easiest way to read our first arc in its entirety! 120 pages of speedster action and humor!

I'm really excited about the comics I've gotten to edit so far in my freelancing this year and am really eager to work on more projects earlier in their lifespan in 2026.

If you are thinking of self-publishing in 2026 and beyond please consider hitting me up at an earlier stage.

They turned Jonathan Bailey into Ryan Reynolds, the magic in Oz doesn't play around.

Genuinely, my mom buying me a Genesis instead of a SNES when I was three. Sonic led to Sonic comics and writing Sonic fanfiction, which inspired my love of comics and creative writing respectively1.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is definitely the most surprising game to get an emotional reaction out of me in a while.

I think this week's episode makes this the longest I've successfully stuck with a campaign of Critical Role, which is simultaneously not much and over a day of runtime.

Replied to the wrong post of my own, I wish this app's auto-refresh was a bit more aggressive.

AI bs getting crammed more and more into every digital space is infuriating in its banal insidiousness.

My comics anniversary thread for the year, which I think/hope was frank and level-headed despite being rambly.
Today is the eleventh anniversary of my decision to pursue comics as a career. As is tradition, I'm going to write a thread about my past year and overall experience with as much honesty as possible.

This, unfortunately, has been a pretty rough year!

I know it's the time of year where everything slows down, but the lack of any emails or project movement the past few weeks has been rough.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

It doesn't happen often, but the way Gmail stacks multiple emails in a thread can make it frustratingly easy to miss messages sent earlier behind the most recent one.

Basically, if the universe wants to give me a big greenlight or the chance to write Sonic, now would be a great time, lol
But, that year's anniversary and equally frustrated thread (which had friends checking in on me!) came just two weeks before the pitch that would lead to Cooking with Monsters, my first graphic novel, getting picked up.

So, you know. There's that!

Doom-and-gloom as my annual thread was, to be clear, I'm still very much plugging away! Working on new pitches this very week, keeping at it.
