Got this little buddy tonight after noticing someone else had shot it.
Cannot even imagine that a little 2 inch telescope can get these kind of obscure galaxies, probably a whole bunch of people living out there just in that fuzzy halo.

Probably the last shot I get of comet Lemmon, just getting too low and the moon is brightening, but it was a fun time while it lasted.

Couldn’t get the comet tonight but this was an excellent consolation prize, the Helix nebula in Aquarius. It’s an awesome site in a 2 inch telescope.

That’s awesome. That was a real beauty. That was the first time I ever seen an actual bright comet other than the bright one the year before. I haven’t seen bright ones like that in 30 years.
