Today I am thankful for podcasts and all my internet friends. Especially @mudron.bsky.social who likes my all posts for some reason.

@talkinghenry.bsky.social if you’re staying though the weekend you should try to get to the museum of the moving image in Astoria.

demonschool credits all 145 people who touched the game over the course of its multi-year dev cycle AND explains what exactly they contributed. the rest of the games industry, which commonly omits people from credits entirely, should be taking notes

I listen to a handful of video game podcasts where the hosts have new games to talk about ever week. And yet wario will post about Dragon Cafe 5: The Valor of Dark Roast or Genesis Noir, and I’m reminded there are a million billion games I’ve never heard of and only so many life minutes.
Genesis Noir - Collector's Edition (Switch) is $19.99 at Serenity Forge Store (MSRP $119.99) buff.ly/21wfluN

Want to see some of the most awkward people? Just watch the stock exchange closing bell video feed that plays every day. How they clap and cheer for our great economy. Praise the line and may it always go up.

Japanese game cover design is widely admired by players, a true craft they have perfected over the years. In an effort to make their product stand out, many studios explored a more tactile range of materials. The resulting effect is as amusing today as it is instantly nostalgic.🧵

Is your child playing the hottest new games like 1991’s SimAnt?
November 23, 2025 at 4:08 AM
Available now on Steam. It’s crazy how different the sims 1 and 2 are, in terms of fidelity. The sims 1 is an amazing feat but the sims 2 will always be the GOAT for me.

You ever go into the fridge to get a Fresca and call it a “Frescer” to be funny and then yell “Fresker!” like how Barry yells “Wesker!” in Resident Evil and make yourself laugh? Yeah me neither.

I got this game from a kickstarter in 2014. I’ve never really played it because it’s super complicated but I love the art. My 7-year-old and I made up our own rules. I’m glad he likes the art too.
