I sort of switch between annoyance at the prevalence of American politics via social media and recognition that this is part of a long tradition. 10,000 attended a rally in support of Sacco and Vanzetti in 1927 and the second biggest protest march in 60's Britain was an anti-Vietnam one.

I just learnt that Miyazaki's film Castle in the Sky was inspired by the Welsh miner strikes of 1984-5 which leads me to propose a redub with Welsh voice actors and a Maggie Thatcher impersonator for Colonel Muska.
