I've been to Yosemite NP before and there were no separate fees according to residence. In fact if you look at the website right now it says, "if there is no staff at your entrance when you drive in please pay on the way out."

Seriously, how would this be implemented? Say a group of US teenagers living in San Francisco decide to take a bus trip to Yosemite NP. How would each person prove they are US residents rather than Canadian tourists? Do we all have to start carrying papers when visiting the park?

First time I read this I thought that bottom-left sea-gull was called Poseidon, and I agreed...that's a weird name for a seagull. Then I saw the dude and realized who you were actually referring to!
