One thing that the far left and the far right have in common is the belief that any acknowledgment of nuance or complexity is a sign of cowardice.

It’s important to note from a military perspective that if a subordinate is about to give an unlawful order & his senior knows about it, it’s also a requirement for the senior official to stop him from executing it. And then counsel/discipline him.

So there’s that, too.

Leftists are always smugly, annoyingly certain that they can overcome thermostatic political opinion.
I’ll put it this way: I have significantly more optimism that we can beat this particular set of fascists than I do that Dems will do what is necessary not to hand the country right back over to the next batch four year later
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

Yep, that's me - I have a libertarian's disdain for politicians, AND a socialist's disdain for capitalism, and when you stir up that ideology gumbo, somehow it all balances out into "Vote Blue No Matter Who." I dunno, you figure it out.

Frankly, at this point, anyone who still complains that the Dems are "the lesser of two evils" is a child who's been spoiled by the excess of consumer choices under capitalism.

Of COURSE they're the lesser of two evils. People who seek power inherently suck, and they will do things that suck.
If you refuse to assign blame to the party that won power through elections and implemented its policies, then the entire framework falls apart. If only one party can ever be at fault because the other party is treated like a natural catastrophe, then the whole thing becomes an incoherent mess.

Leftists think that no leftward progress has been made in the past few decades so they're blind to how APOCALYPTIC the last few decades have been for the right.

This is why leftist analysis of the right fails. They attribute everything to "economic anxiety" instead of bigots seeing their world end.
This is the crux of the bargain white ppl made voting for trump & the gop. "Rid us of brown ppl & make white ppl the majority again & we will sacrifice our jobs, savings, homes, and even children." They 💯 factored in those losses & decided it was worth it. That's why nothing else he does matters

So, this review of the original "KINGSMAN" - which people tell me is (inexplicably, to me! 🤷‍♂️) somehow one of the "most controversial" videos I did a decade or ago - apparently also became lost media for awhile. I've now restored/remastered it:

My bipartisan IRS MATH Act with Senator Bill Cassidy is now law.

Now, if you mess up your taxes, the IRS has to tell you where you made a mistake and how to fix it.

No more spending a fortune on lawyers or hours to find errors.

That means fewer headaches and more money in your pocket.

There are SO MANY replies to this missing the point that the majority of these people are Trumpy Fox viewers BECAUSE they're elderly and assuming the fix really is "some of GenZ likes bad podcasts." It doesn't work like that. It never has.
My inlaws are pretty Trumpy, and my wife's grandpa lives on a steady diet of fox news pumped directly into his hearing aid (he's 87 and can barely walk or eat)

There's this generation of white old people who are hanging on by spite, and I don't think the GOP has a plan for when they're gone

It's Twitter Brain. It's ALL Twitter Brain. People can think whatever they want about Will Stancil, but he's 1000% RIGHT that most of modern conservatives' behavior is explained by them LIVING ON THE INTERNET and never interacting with other people. They've been ACTUALLY punched or even shouted at.
It's the NPC thing. Gen Z cons in particular are 100% convinced that the rest of the world has no agency, it's bizarre.

Ginny Di makes an excellent underrepresented point here in that the secondary damage caused by AI is that so many artists have to defend our own work as organic now. I had to put out a statement that BLACK PHONE 2 contained no AI because assholes decided to accuse us of using it and no other reason.
I love paying human artists and I hate gen AI 🩵

I'm not here to fight about whether or not AI is ethical (I've made my decision and I doubt I'm gonna change yours.) I'm just here to talk about what I and many other artists have been dealing with as we adjust to a new media landscape.

If you have YouTubers you like and follow and watch their videos a lot

leave innane/positive comments on their videos. The algo is all fucked up for YT creators and a lot of videos get sent to the void for whatever reason.

I hate doing it, but I've been trying to do it.
