“Same-as” schema helps LLMs because:

📒 Knowledge graphs update, and LLMs query those graphs

✅ Entity clarity improves across the sources LLMs trust

🎛️ Future LLM training runs will incorporate it over time

Many CMS platforms automatically create the file.

So it’s possible that the majority of sites that contained the file in the dataset were not even optimizing for LLMs.

Which would explain why they weren’t showing up

I wonder if there’s a group of people out there looking to monetize communities and searching for mentions of new moderators in comments.

I just started actively using Reddit (although I’ve had an account for four years)

in the last month I’ve seen multiple communities transfer moderator duties — Sometimes to the first person who raised their hand and even though they admitted to having almost no experience on the topic.

So I think the lower conversion rate on referral traffic is reflective of people getting close to a decision, but then converting through another channel

I have a feeling those conversion rates will increase substantially as ChatGPT launches new shopping features

It’s an interesting study. I read the actual data behind it and came to two conclusions

1. ChatGPT doesn’t link to product pages very often

2. ChatGPT isn’t built for shopping (yet)

Plus those boots don’t make it easy to move fast. No doubt you could crush me at that game even if you were wearing ankle weights though.
