Also I would do almost anything to get the chance to dance with JoJo - his kindness and generosity of spirit shines through with each and every partner

I love Alex so much. Whenever I’m feeling particularly dowdy and scruffy in scrubs, I always remember her in ER and am consoled that even she couldn’t make them look glam. 🫶

Happy to provide a jar of homemade chutney if you make it down to Somerset (miles better than the bought stuff even if I do say so myself)

Hands up who thinks F*#rage is any better now than as a teenager, other than more skilled at masking his nastiness.

Interestingly, according to Altmetric, it has got an overall positive repsonse over in the 'other place' despite the bots and anti-vax crowd. The only strong negative even admitted he hadn't read it 🤪 Still glad I stopped visiting some time ago and only recently went in to delete my account.

With apologies and much thanks to the fabulous @cochrane.org Cochrane Response and GNOC teams, especially Nicholas and Hanna for their considerable efforts. I think the original estimate in 2021 was about 100 studies and we ended up with 225 (and counting!)

“What if, as a friend texted me this week, the true hero of this 15-act opera is whoever was editing her pieces at New York?”

Very well observed, and probably the only line usable in polite company, but made me laugh!

Behind every good writer is a great editor!

Never underestimate quite how nasty a mean girl can be. They can grow older, but they’re still mean girls.

Presumably she did nothing to fix the truly devastating AA problems in DB schemes. I know people who have essentially paid to go to work for a lot of last year 😳

I was presenting at a meeting in India in September where it’s the *second* most common cancer in women. That’s where we would be starting from if we didn’t have screening

My two daughters received their shots back in 2007 when it was introduced as part of a high school immunisation programme. Very proud of Australia's achievement here. Thank you, Ian Frazer, the late Jian Zhou and University of Queensland.

Cervical cancer has peak incidence in young women- the most common age group in UK has shifted from 25-29 to 30-34 recently due to vaccination of under 30s. WHO strategy to eliminate requires vaccination, screening and treatment of CIN
